Welcome to the Business & Technology blog of Keyboard Logic. As the CEO of the company I wanted to create a space to share the challenges I have seen throughout my career and potential solutions to these challenges. Some of the solutions I will have implemented with clients, or in my own business, and other solutions will be best practices that I have gathered from external sources. With a large background in Contact Center Technology, I expect some of the posts will be specific to this niche field and not applicable to the Technology field as a whole. It is my hope that each reader is able to find a valuable nugget they can take away from this blog and use to improve there own quality of life.
About the CEO
As the owner of a small business and someone who has consulted for multiple large corporations, I am able to offer a unique perspective on solutions implemented in the Technology and Business fields. My name is Ernest Heyder and I founded the company Keyboard Logic in 2016. I started the company for two main reasons; one, I was unhappy in my current role at the company I was working for; and two, I believed I could create a company that modeled how a company "should" treat it's employees.
To avoid getting into the nitty-gritty of the issues with the company I was working for I will summarize the main points to be "over worked, unappreciated, and underpaid". I am sure many people can relate to these feelings in their own work. The fact that this feeling is so relatable to people in many different business is one of the problems I hope to change with my business. I do know there are business out there that don't follow the model, but it appears those business are the exceptions and not the rule. It is a lofty goal, but I hope that I can change this perceived rule, so that companies like my former employer become the exceptions.
The first step towards achieving this change is to build a success business, Keyboard Logic, as an example of how a business can exist, from day one, that supports and cultivates its employees. The company has so far been successful in providing consulting services, but to have a larger impact the company needs to shift to providing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). As we build out more products, the company will be able to hire more people, increasing the impact we have on individuals in the business community. I will keep striving towards the change I want to see in the business community and hope that I get to see impact of my work on future generations.
